Photo by Xie Yuqian) Amidst the splendor of April in Hangzhou, Beihang Hangzhou International Campus proudly welcomed Professor Amara Amara, an internationally renowned expert in Integrated Circuits, to join the faculty! On the morning of April 27th, Professor Amara visited Beihang Hangzhou International Campus for the third time. He signed the employment contract for joining the Hangzhou International Innovation Institute of Beihang University, and the Institute Director Hong Guanxin signed the contract on behalf of the Institute. Zhao Weisheng, the Vice President of Beihang University, presented the letter of appointment to Professor Amara. Professor Amara will become a member of the National Key Laboratory of Spintronics/Yuhang Nano Center, and contribute to team building, talent cultivation, fundamental and frontier scientific research, and international academic cooperation of the Center.

As a world-leading expert in integrated circuits, Professor Amara will contribute to the Institute by further enhancing the research prowess and faculty expertise in key areas such as chip design. Professor Amara will also be extensively involved in deepening cooperation between the Institute and research institutions in countries such as France and Singapore and international academic organizations like IEEE. He will mentor young faculty and students to elevate their innovation capabilities, broaden their international vision, and assist in nurturing high-level international talents.
