On December 29th, 29 members from the Hong Kong "Date with Success" Delegation (Shanghai and Hangzhou Tour) visited Beihang Hangzhou International Campus. The students from the delegation had friendly and in-depth exchanges with teachers and students from Zhongfa Aviation Institute of Beihang University, gaining a comprehensive understanding of Zhongfa Aviation Institute, including its history, student education programs, and international cooperation.
In the introduction session, Ying Weidong, the Deputy Secretary of the CPC ZFAI Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, expressed a warm welcome to the delegation and made a detailed introduction to the development of Zhongfa Aviation Institute as well as the construction concept, facilities, and equipment of Hangzhou International Campus. Ying Weidong stated that Zhongfa Aviation Institute, committed to an internationalized approach to education, made an effort to establish platforms for cultural exchanges and actively conducted exchanges and cooperation with other universities from home and abroad. Students from Hong Kong were welcomed to study on Beihang Hangzhou International Campus.
After the session, led by student representatives from Zhongfa Aviation Institute, the delegation visited laboratories, the library, the gymnasium, the concert hall, and other buildings and facilities. They were full of admiration for the modern and vibrant campus environment, the brand-new and well-equipped campus facilities, and the advanced and professional laboratory conditions. During the visit, students actively communicated and shared their learning tips and cultural experiences, deepening the understanding and friendship between each other.
At the end of the activity, WONG Cheuk-ngai, the head of the delegation, on behalf of the delegation, presented a banner to the Zhongfa Aviation Institute and expressed gratitude for the warm reception and well-planned activities. Besides, he expressed sincere hope for more students from Hong Kong to visit and study on Hangzhou International Campus in the future for further deepening exchanges and cooperation.
