In early winter, the sky was clear and bright. On November 26th, the first Firefly Music Festival of Zhongfa Aviation Institute of Beihang University was successfully held on the Beihang Hangzhou International Campus. The festival aimed to enrich the cultural atmosphere of the campus, inspire the mind and wisdom with aesthetic education, and showcase the positive and upward spirit of students from Beihang University. On the banks of the Liangzhu and Tiaoxi rivers, the sweet melodies of musical instruments echoed across the campus.
The students participated enthusiastically in the event. They sang, played instruments, danced, and immersed themselves in the activities. “Night Life. Take Us to the Light”, performed by Sun Lin and other students, was full of youthful vigor and vitality. “Melody of The Night VI”, played by Qiao Zixuan, was a classical and elegant piece that brought everyone’s soul to a poetic rest. “Drive”, performed by Feng Sirui and Zeng Hongyi, was a refreshing tune with a catchy melody that made listeners involuntarily swing to the rhythm. Each student showcased their own beauty, creating a feast of audio-visual experiences.

The piano pieces of “Concerto Italien” 1st mvt and “Prelude 11, WTK 1” by Bach, presented by teacher Sion CHAN-LANG, brought the festival to a small climax. The two pieces, one peaceful and the other lively, swayed the students' moods with their musical notes. Sion also performed the “Little Love Song” with Chen Xingguo. The singing voice from the East and the instrument from the West sparkled a wonderful chemical reaction, which was soothing, melodious, and warm to listen to.

In organizing the festival events, volunteers worked together to present the best. The volunteers’ hard work and efforts were seen in the processes of stage layout, backstage control, venue cleaning, etc. They truly exemplified the volunteer spirit of dedication and friendship of Beihang students.
