All students and staff on BeihangHangzhou International Campus wish a happy 71st birthday to Beijing University! To welcome the 71st anniversary of the university, Zhongfa Aviation Institute of Beihang University organized various activities in Hangzhou International Campus, to celebrate together with the university and praise the youth!
I. Theme Exhibition of “Liangzhu Culture into Campus”
On the afternoon of October 25, the opening ceremony of “Liangzhu Culture into Zhongfa Aviation Institute of Beihang University” & Contract Signing Ceremony of Cooperation were successfully held in the Conference Center of Hangzhou International Campus of Beihang University. Tang Liyu (Standing Committee Member and Deputy District Head of Yuhang District), Yang Xiaoping (Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Liangzhu Site Management Area, Hangzhou), Shen Qing (Secretary of the Party Committee of Pingyao Town, Yuhang District), Ma Dongfeng (Executive Dean of Liangzhu Museum (Liangzhu Research Institute)), Xu Laiying (President of Hangzhou Yuhang Cultural Tourism Investment Group Co., Ltd., Ying Hangjun (Secretary General of Liangzhu Cultural Protection Research Foundation, Yuhang District, Hangzhou) and other leaders and guests participated in the events, together with over 200 persons in total, including the Hong Guanxin (Director ofZFAI) and otherInstitute leaders, theinaugurall batch of undergraduate students and teacher representatives, participated in the event.

II. Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition of “Reproducing in Light and Shadow and Flowing in Ink Rhyme”
On the occasion of the 71st anniversary of Beihang University, the first Painting and Calligraphy Photographic Exhibition of Zhongfa Aviation Institute of Beihang University with the theme of “Reproducing in Light and Shadow and Flowing in Ink Rhyme” started. In the student activity room, everyone painted freely, praising the heroic ambition of Beihang University to serve thecountrythrough aerospaceendeavors for 71 years and painting new outlooks ofBeihang Hangzhou International Campus. Meanwhile, inthepaths with shaded trees, the students took pictures with their cameras, capturing the beautiful sunset scenery and humanistic features on campus. Nearly a hundred paintings and photography works have been received in the contest, of which 38 works stood out under joint voting andselection by teachers and students of the whole college.On the afternoon of October 25, the Director Hong Guanxin and other institute leaders gave awards to the award-winning students.

III. Library activity of “Serve the Country Through Aerospace Endeavors and Look for an Excellent Achievement”
With 71 years of literary precipitation,dreamsset sail in the golden autumn in October. To celebrate the 71st birthday of Beihang University and enrich reading culture and life of the teachers and students in Zhongfa Aviation Institute, Beihang Library (Hangzhou) hosted the aerospace-themed book fair and knowledge contest.
The library recommended excellent aerospace-themed books to teachers and students, enabling them to read together, to appreciate Beihang’s mission ofserving the country and forging ahead with our country, as well as itsspirit of making patriotic dedication and daring to be the first.
The contest was based on the knowledge of historical facts about theCPC, aerospace,fact aboutBeihange,book search and libraryservices, literature and history, etc. Through the contest, the studentsgot more insights into the Beihang spiritof “Serve the Country Through Aerospace Endeavors and daring to be the first”, and constantly internalizes the spirit of “love our motherland, love aviation, love aerospace, and love Beihang”.
